Yes because everyone grows milo without a pre-emerge. Which is what it's intended purpose is clean up.is secondary. Your comment is like me saying to my no till neighbor that spent $80,000 to rogue fields last year that he shouldn't do it because your not allowed secondary intentions.

Look at it this way Matt... if all us guys are tilling ground our expected yields will go down, meaning you'll have more bushels then us and can sell for higher prices. Also Some Of the poorer soils will possibly be taken out of production which will mean less marketable grain. Leading to you getting a better price again on more bushels.

I'm not against notill. Think I've stated that several times. WE NEED IT. However farmers and myself won't go broke paying for chemicals that only work 70-80%. Say. 2000 weeds survive /ac = 4-600 survivors @ 100,000 seeds/plant. Year 2 = 8,000,000-18,000,000 on 70-80% control. 1 survivor is to much.
