| I agree with 17821X. I would let it alone, at least for a week. See what it looks like in a week. Based on what I see in the pics, I think it will grow out more than you expect. It will not yield 100% of normal, but based on what you posted, the insurance company will make you whole. Also, I don't know why you are asking the insurance company to pay for your crop insurance premium. If they are going to make your gross income whole - make up the difference between what this field makes and what the other 45 acres makes - then you should be paying the crop insurance. The crop insurance premium from the other 45 acres comes out of your gross income, and so would the crop insurance premium from these damaged acres. That's the way I see it. |
