Looks fine to me. We run Progressive Trash Titan closers that sit about like those to hold dirt from rolling off the knife, if you get in a pinch with Mother Nature I think you'll find you can use a lot more ground speed without hurting anything.
I have experimented a bit and found that the limiting factor could be the driver. They really do a nice job sealing and protecting the crop.
