Same situation here in 2014. (And maybe 2016 if the forecast is correct) It will straighten back up with a gooseneck.
If you don't have rowsense on your combine/corn head get it. You will be amazed at how well it works.
As long as the corn stays attached to the ground you won't need a reel.
And yield? WAAY better than we expected.
