I just couldn't help but throw some more fuel on the no-till vs. till fire!
Using a full labelled rate of blade plow to take out these heat stressed, moisture stressed, getting big troublesome weeds. Mix is tractor rate of $1.75 an acre which covers depreciation and repairs, with a dose of fuel at $.80 per acre, and time for operator at $.75 per acre. For good measure we also have 90F temps, and full sun to enhance the efficacy.
Makes for a really hot mix, you can tell within 20 minutes if the combo is going to work or not, let's see....
Marestail.....check.
Kocia......check.
Palmer amaranth......check.
48 hours the field will look like this.
You better not ever bitch about it being too dry, because it's entirely a self-directed problem.
No herbicide resistance here with this combination
