Gee, marestail are very easy to control with herbicides with just a little planning.
sprayed last fall with 4oz metribuzen 32oz rr and 16oz 24d. then this spring we sprayed 1oz sharpen and 3oz fierce. then it rained for 2 months. then we got out the disk.

paraquat & metribuzin would've taken care of it.  Much more consistent control than Sharpen.



Maybe the marestail was a foot tall by the time they used steel.  You think paraquat is going to take it down when it's that big and growing hard?  Get real.
