Clark SD | From what i have observed from the last few years, from being continous no-till for 24 years, is that you have to have a different rotation than just corn-soybean to see the benfits that no-till can offer, like more water holding capacity, better water infiltration and building organic matter. You could ad a cool season crop like wheat, or least a cover crop with high carbon content. As far as weeds, rotate modes of action, if you are bent on a corn-bean rotation use liberty link soybeans and use a cover crop to keep the weeds off guard. | |
