Subject: RE: Zinc deficiency and treatment options?

Bourbon,Indiana

barsfarm - 6/19/2016 22:11 I was told. Zinc Sulfate binds to the soil has limited uptake in the corn plant. The seed and tissue may uptake zinc. A foliar micro app is an option for about $5. Did you put zinc in furrow?

"High soil P levels and P fertilization rates can induce Zn deficiency in soils with marginal levels of Zn. Tissue P to Zn ratios in excess of 100:1 have been associated with Zn deficiency. Phosphorus interferes with the plant's metabolism of Zn causing the deficiency. "
