I've got the T-shirt from this experience.  Since you have 30" beans, you might as well hook the cultivator up, because spraying will only delay you doing so instead of preventing it.  Might as well do it now while they are small and you can get 80% of them without pruning the roots of your bean crop and smashing down big beans while you turn on the ends.
