east central nebraska | That's a good idea, unfortunately in this particular pasture due to it being part swamp, it just isn't feasable. I have baled brome before off of the upland parts of other pastures. If I do that again I will cut the brome higher as last time it never recovered and I lost all grazing abilities where I baled.
I didn't intend to come across as complaining, very thankful to have moisture to produce excess grass. | |
