I was just starting to farm then with my dad, we did a lot of custom work so I think that helped on the revenue part, also 88 and 89 were pretty bad. I don't have to look back that far though, in 02 I used a disk to harvest my corn, most didn't even put an ear on. I believe the bean yields were 7-15 bu./ac? Crop insurance saved a lot of farmers.
