We combined it for seed back when I was in high school. That was only 45 years ago so it was probably the old variety, lol. It is easy to combine since you basically only take in the seed heads. Previous poster is right, you have to dry it. We had a little 12 ft. bin that we spread burlap on the perforated floor so it wouldn't fall through the cracks. Speaking of cracks, you will need to seal up every crack on the combine or it will fall out. For example, between the header and feeder house and any in the grain tank. You might need a slow-down kit for the fan so it doesn't blow out the back. And then there is the question of screens, but your standard ones will probably work -- just don't expect a perfectly clean sample.

We grew a specialty crop called crown vetch so we were equipped to combine and clean it. Seems like it has a little silver colored hull on it. Not sure if that needs to be removed if you were going to sell it. If you can find someone with a clipper cleaner with small screens, it would pay to clean the trash out of it to get it to go through a grain drill later.

One poster's idea on driving through with a loader -- new improved version of that would be to drive through with the combine and platform with the sickle taken out. Run the reel as fast as possible to knock the seed into the platform.

Having said all of this, I'm not sure why you want the stuff. Around here it has become almost a noxious weed. It chokes up drainage ditches and grows out into several feet of water around most ponds, making it hard to fish. It is totally unmanageable.
