Subject: RE: Livestock Water System

North Central Kansas
I've had experience with Ritchie's and would not own one now that I've had a cobett. My Cobett is so reliable that I rely on it too much. Other things in the water system can fail, like the pressure switch, etc. That Cobett is as reliable as the sun. In response to some of the problems with Cobett. I've never had cattle pushing the float down to over flow it. Because the Cobett, or any other automatic waterer, only holds a small amount, I prefer to go to a tank and float for the summer so I have a supply of water available in case of problems.
