You are entirely wrong sir. Glyphosate is a systemic herbicide not a contact herbicide. It will translocate throughout the plant. There have been numerous studies showing higher concentration mixs provide better control.
Volume of carrier does come into play with weeds that have multiple growing points like larger gaint ragweeds etc...
Otherwise glyphosate at 10gal per acre routinely does what it is supposed to on non resistent weeds at least.
It also likes large droplet sizes which makes air induction nozzles very effective with glyphosate.
