NNW Nebraska | This is cattle country, and is pasture, no farm land involved. Land was split, but been in long term lease from ex brother in law. Landowner of leased piece will not come to acceptable terms, so it is gona have to be fenced. Guy acts bipolar, and acts off his rocker when in the wrong personality. Very scary. Evicted the long term lessor last year as soon as second half of lease was paid. Lessor did not get to use land second half of lease. Already thousands of dollars been spent on lawyer's.
Not likely that anyone local will ever lease from this guy, so if he is able to get cattle in, it will be from some outsider that has no idea what this guy is like. He wants to sell the land, but wants about half again more than appraisal price, which is already twice or more what it would cash flow. | |
