I have a 90' hagie dry boom and it holds a bunch of liquid. I had rinsed my boom out for several minutes so we could swap nozzle bodies. Once done I loaded up and went to spray. I sprayed into the ditch for what seemed plenty long, but a day after spraying I noticed I did not have the boom completely full of herbicide mix for 200' or so and had to touch it up. I should have checked my gallons sprayed when I was charging the boom to see how much was just not quite enough.

Not saying your drift retardant residue couldn't have hung on to some roundup. It doesn't take much round up to kill a grass type plant.
