Eastern Iowa | How would you recommend pulling water from a creek? It's a little different situation, there is current, muddy water, passers by, etc. What type of self priming pump would give me 10-15 feet of lift with good flow and could be powered by a smaller solar set up? Would I want to filter the water to protect the pump?
Definitely considering putting in a larger tank instead of batteries now.
Still wondering why I couldn't fill and return tank overflow to the creek with a small pump that runs constantly 16 hours a day. Maybe the life of the pump would become an issue? | |
