Done several thousand acres here over the past 5 years and yes it almost always has some burn. Anywhere from 100-350# of urea mixed with AMS or potash and we have never had a problem. One year we did 200 acres of over 5' tall corn with 225# urea and burned it pretty bad, and that was the best yielding field on the farm. Don't be afraid, just make sure you aren't spreading over 75' and be gentle on the urea and you won't see as much burn.
