St.Clair Co. IL. | about where are you guys in SW IL.?
I'm between Smithton and Millstadt, the later planted corn looks BAD the last few days, rolled and yea looks like pineapple plants.
the early corn looks good, dark green and about chest high it's the ankle high conventional corn that looks bad.
right now anyway
hang in there if you don't like the weather stick around it will change!! LOL
good luck it's still to early to write it off yet.
As far as the double crop it won't grow in the bag, there is some moisture down a bit. maybe the yr. to plant a little deeper
