NY | We used Syracuse fiber quite a few years ago in the milk cow stalls and tried one load a year agoin the far out drycows I understand why you use it it is readily available and relatively cheap but it is nasty stuff it always comes steaming hot. And takes your breath away we have found a ground up tops shoppers card it it before. I know they say it's recycled paper but it is pretty much ground up garbage with some hydrated lime in it. I could almost bet if you switch bedding sources you would drastically reduce your mastitis problems. Not trying to completely bash on their product but I would not put it under milk cows again. Maybe good heifer bedding. | |
