Subject: RE: Alfalfa in soybeans?

Northeast Nebraska
2 years ago I fall sprayed 2 fields of alfalfa. They were small fields, and I was able to spray both of them with one 1200 gallon tank full. I used 2,4d and roundup powermax.

100% kill in one field, 50% kill in the other. Sprayed within minuted of each other. Fields were about a mile apart. Same tank.

The following spring the fields were corn. Still had trouble with alfalfa in the one field even through a pre-emerge herbicide applied with more 2,4d and roundup. Finally the second year when it was beans I sprayed it with flexstar. Absolutely smoked it, I've never seen alfalfa get taken out so quickly and completely.
