| I would guess your elevator tests it. If they hear the protein is low from the south. I see the elevators check more often and try to keep it segregated in case their is a premium later in the year. You will never get the premium during harvest. The only time we have ever received a premium would be storing it and hauling it in later, either fall or winter. We haven't had a protein premium that I remember in quite a while. | |
