Marion, OH | I have decided to take tissue samples of a field through out the season for the first time to see what I can learn and experiment with somethings. I have one area that is showing low P where I didn't expect it and wondered if anyone had any ideas. The attachments are the soil sample taken in April, a tissue test on 6/6 @ v3 and another taken 6/13 @ v5. Notes are that we had been pretty dry up to the second test and I thought maybe compaction or poor root structure could be a cause but after digging several plants and comparing to others there isn't a stark difference in root structure. There is purpling in the plants but it is a pioneer hybrid that seems to purple easy when young.
