Not sure of the reasoning behind it but there is a field nearby that was standing corn stalks when the 12 row 30" planter was out there.

Next day a tractor and disk was out there disking those same standing stalks and later that day they were pulling a 7 section drag across it.


Now it has a nice looking stand of beans on it that looks like it was broadcast and worked in.



It must work for them as this is not the first time that they have done this.
