East Central Ia | Turbo twins around 25-30psi provide good coverage and pretty good drift control. Raising psi above 30 increases coverage but reduces drift control.
I have been spraying using these nozzles the last few days with very good results. I just slow down a mph or 2 when the wind picks up.
I would not use the TTI nozzles for contact herbicides... Tee Jets web sight doesn't even rate them for contact herbicides... The droplets are like rain! Great for glyphosate and surface applied chemicals.
If you have the none air induction turbo tee nozzles they should work ok but there are better options.
I also have a set of AIXR nozzles that work well.
The chart shows the straight XR nozzles make pretty small droplets so I'm sure it looks like a fogger behind those! I have never used them. I like the twin fans... Larger droplets for less drift at lower psi but still great coverage.
I use the twin fans for fungicide and insecticide as well.
There really is no one size fits all spray nozzle in my opinion.
