I certainly qualify as a novice in the hay dept... The pea stems/vines do seem unlikely to get really dry. I will call my neighbor and schedule wrapping of the bales. Thank you both. This evening I mowed some grass/red clover in another field that I will try to get dry. Red clover is also difficult to get dry but it looks like we have a very good 3 or 4 days for making hay. If it tests dry I'll put it in the shed, if not I'll wrap that too. edit to add: what happens to those trit seeds and beards in tube wrapped baleage? Will this make good feed for next winter?
