East central Iowa, Camanche, Iowa
Hopefully you got some good rain last night to help breakdown that sidewall compaction. Other than a foliar feed of some sort I don't know if there is much you can do.

You could try to dribble a little UAN close to the row to try and get some N to those roots trapped in the trench. If you could find some soil conditioner (Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate) aka Agri-SC or Panhandler at about 1-2oz/acre with the UAN close to the row it may help in breaking up the sidewall compaction. Ag Spectrum sell a product called Blitz that is Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate in gallon jugs. Just thinking out loud........and no, I do not sell any of these products but have used them in the past.
