Check out StarPal's HGIS program. http://www.starpal.com/v800/HGIS8_Manual.pdf

It should work for you situation. You just need the center pivot point and outside boundary of the field. Creating the boundaries can all be done in the office.

Because the Trimble FMD uses ArcVeiw shp files, I’ve taken coverage files created with HGIS directly into the FMD to control the TruCount setup. You should be able to do something similar but will need to run it through SMS first before going to the Insight.
