Baskin, Louisiana | Reed, I've had really good results spraying my beans with a mixture of Zatarains Shrimp& Crab boil and garlic oil. You can buy it by the gallon on Amazon. I mix 1 pint of each to 20 gallons and spray it on the beans with a band sprayer I made for my buggy. We haul butt across it and can spray about 10 acres with 20 gals. Deer hate garlic and the crab boil is extremely pungent. Only problem is a decent rain will wash it off and you must reapply. Very cheap though. Less that a $1 an acre. Spraying the perimeter will work for a little while, but you need to spray the beans so when they try to eat it, they get that taste and smell. | |
