You must be really dry, low humidity to get that hot. All the moisture we have here in north Iowa seems to quench those extreme temperatures. Not supposed to get over 86 here in the ten day forecast. Heavy rain predicted again for today. It's been like living in a greenhouse here the last two weeks.
