Yes, I understand what you are saying. But, the alfalfa that did not drown was tilled under at the same time that the cover crop in the drowned acres was. I was hoping that the rape and oats would hold the N credit from the drowned alfalfa so I would be able to apply the same amount of supplemental N on the entire field. I certainly wasn't going to put extra N on the part of the field that has the highest chance of going underwater again. | |
