Bill,

Always like your pics! We sidedress too with an old DMI bar dad bought from the local coop dirt cheap. Your's has much better paint! We run ours on 30 in centers. We do like to jump on it as early as possible because some years like last year, we never would have gotten it done in time if we didn't. We also only put a little starter on with the planter ahead, so getting the rest 120 lbs of N on for us is very important. Plus going earlier means we can keep the duals on the tractor and not snap off any corn.

I'm also getting ready to break out our old 183. Got some hemp that didn't die in a bean field. Looks like liberty beans are in the near future for us.
