My agronomist says not really." Glad I'm not the only one thinks that way. Guys will fall nh3 and side dressing rest with UAN before it's boot high, I just don't get it. Might as well say your money and put it all on in the fall.

We are probably little short early, only run 30-45lb. N with the planter then sidedress NH3.

For smaller guy, NH3 will always be cheapest form of N, and stays in the soil longer then UAN. COOP has UAN priced 10cents higher per unit right now, that adds up.
