Your right, my mistake, we have chisel cut not hawk cut, and yes i've kneeled with shorts on our chisel cut floors and you won't do it for very long. Landlord has 3x 1960's bins that are still in perfect shape, 2 have chisel cut floors with air and 8" unloads, we fill them every year. I will sweep at an angle or just push to the flashing and use that to move it around. I dislike shoveling as you can't clean it up like you can with smooth which makes for more work for the broom. I will say the 36' is nicer as at least it has some capacity, and when the sweep is going around you have some time to make the sweep work. The 18' you have to stay on the ball to get it cleaned up faster then the sweep.
