Morris, IL | Have to say, we have a 30-40 year old Sudenga power sweep and have really good luck with it. We have to watch how hard we push it or it will plug, i think the opening at the discharge isn't big enough. Also have hard time with the on/off for the sweep. I take the cover off every year and grease the dogs up but doesn't seem to help. All that said, it will still outperform our new Brock power sweep but it has not problems at all. We should have went with a 10", dealer kind of talked us out of it but from now on all will be 10". I really like all electric too, sweep and auger, really nice setup that way.
Would also agree with you on the floor, i think sukup still says the hawk cut is the best for air flow and sell a lot of them. I don't care how much better they are, they are miserable to clean and we won't use one. Brock is smooth and sweeps really nice.
