We have a gehl 2360 which is 10' 4" as well and our 10 wheel rake is a good match. I think your rake may need adjustment. Are the tines just barely contacting the ground when in the run position? Is it missing the hay on both sides or just one? Adjust the angle of each wing to the widest windrow allowable for your baler, chopper, etc. pickup and make sure each side is adjusted equally - this causes each wheel to run at less of an angle to the windrow resulting in more wheel speed and better pickup. Is there down pressure on each of the wings? Check the manual and see what adjustments can be made - if you could upload a pic while you're raking we may be able to better assist you.
