Subject: RE: Which power sweep?

Eastern Iowa
I handle Sudenga sweeps for most folks, they are just a good, well built, unit for the money. It's what I've got in all my bins here now. Good value.

I love the Springland U-trough. Well built and installs nice. It is a Cadillac outfit, with a Cadillac price! Really nice unloader. Moves corn quick.

I sold my first Daay sweep to a local seed outfit who routinely clean out bins several times a year. They've come back and bought another. They said they had to get a larger belt conveyor to handle the unload rate, love the clean floor and gentle operation. Saves them lots of time when they are switching varieties. They are a Springland base unit with the sweep deleted and Daay paddle system installed in its place. They are expensive, but in their application it makes a lot of sense.

Not a fan of the Sukup at all. Cheaply designed.

Can't speak to the others.

When it comes to floors, avoid the chisel cut and if you use welded support stands underneath, you will be fine with the 7" plank floor anyone offers. Everything else is just marketing, IMO.
