Quadtrac getting mice in it.

There is a rubber boot sealing the steering wheel shaft outside the cab under the hood that had a hole in it on ours. This was where the mice were entering. When they get in there they fall into the air conditioner heater duct and can't get out. Of course they die in there and you can guess the rest. We had to take our whole ducting apart and found a bunch of skeletons in there. Very hard to clean out. Washed with bleach, baking soda and everything else we could think of. Left a box of baking soda in the duct when we reassembled. Replaced the cracked boot and have had no more problems. Took about two months for smell to completely disappear. Now you can't tell there ever was a problem. This was on a stx 375. I am assuming they are the same but I may be wrong.
