What are your experiences or thoughts?
The fastest way to do worse than a regular rubber closing tire is to try something that promises to do better. Monkeying around with different closing wheels DOES have the potential to yield improvement, but it has much greater potential (and likelihood) to reduce performance.
Many times I've gone out to the field midseason for someone who was sure he wanted [aftermarket closer X] on his brand new planter, and changed it back to regular wheels to alleviate issues. |
