You don't need as much pressure as you think - 2000 to 2500 is quite good. Flow rate is more critical particularly on more soiled items. I use 4.5 gpm for washing hog buildings at 2000psi. Also works good for machinery. I've had some problems getting that flow rate from the public water system but my wells can put out 10 gpm.
