Subject: Fert Rate For JD 7200 Planter

Walsingham, Ontario
I bought a JD 7200 12RN planter with 2x2 liquid squeeze pumps. I want to plant pumpkins on 60 inch centers using the odd rows. I have the vsets with the specialty plates and am ready to go plant but have come up with a dilemma...

I want to put 15 GPA of fertilizer on. The manual only has rates for 30 inch rows or 36 or 38 inch rows. We have taken the even row roller hoses off at the pump and capped them.

Is it as simple as set the spockets for 30 GPA and go plant and I will get the 15GPA I want or is there a conversion factor to go through?

Thanks, Ernie
