Iowa | I have a Massey 2150. I would personally stay a generation behind this model as i think they used pretty cheap metal to build it with, however i have not had any major breakdowns, i guess i broke both axles off though, but other than that just guards and brackets that the cheap metal cracks on. Had a case 331 before that and it was a good baler. The older hestons or cases (same thing) seem to be bullet proof, and for 1000 bales a year and if you dont mind having a few repairs here and there id go with those. I have 22000bales through mine and i would assume you could put 40000 bales on it before needing major repairs. I also which you luck baling corn stalks, take it slow until you get a feel for it. I have tried it with both my balers and plugged them both up in the precompression chamber and it takes like 6-8 hours to unplug. | |
