That is known as a 4 post cab. Looks like that tractor has a winter enclosure laying around somewhere to put on during the winter. There were vinyl windows to hang down from those flat irons bolted to the top of the posts under the roof. Also a front glass window to bolt to the right front post and that angle iron frame over the cowl. A door hinged from the left side of the frame of the window and there is a latch that mounts on the bottom of the left front post just above the fender. It was just like a heat houser, with vinyl canvas that went along both sides of the engine to bring the heat back into the "cab". We still use the one that came with our 4230. It is very easy to remove when you do not need it. We usually left the right window on all of the time until our broke last year.
