EC IL | 2002 140K starting to lose a little coolant, in 300 miles it will turn on the low coolant light. Upper radiator hose not hard but I did catch a whiff of antifreeze yesterday. Only thing I find is at the base of the head there is just a little white residue. I do have a appointment next week to get gaskets and studs as I am not brave enough to tear into it nor do I have time. I am I wondering if I need to park it or if I can take the girls to a horse show this weekend about 100 miles away or if I need to hook up the 98 K2500 454? I realize anything can happen but is this a sign they are going to go quick, what has your experience been? Anything else I need to do to keep it reliable for my wife? Injectors last yr. water pump 3 yrs ago I think I will have the shop do that again while they are there. Thanks | |
