west central Iowa | My episode only lasted a couple hours, but I have to finish today. Had to make feed for my kids club calves and the first thing I needed was pellets out of a bulk bin. We have a pretty good idea how fast they come out so we time with the cell phone to get the right amount. The auger ran for 2 minutes and quit. Then it wouldn't run unless I held the reset button on the motor. Then it bridged up and I had to beat on the side, and then it wouldn't run at all any more. So I found another motor that already had a cord and was even running the right direction. I put it on and it worked, but then the bin ran empty and I'm waiting for the coop to bring more. | |
