Thanks everyone, i think i'm going to move ahead with your version John. I had found that thread in the search earlier today. I called deere and complete pump is $1044, no clutch either. Can get a hypro or ace for 550 give or take including new clutch. I cleaned the leaking hole up today, threaded a bolt in it and JB welded it to see if i can get few more tanks off and buy me some time to get new pump put in place.

One question for John, have you ever worried about it being quite a bit lower? I think i'm going to try same pump or maybe an ACE, would like to cut an inch or so of the factory bracket shorter, then just weld flat stock iron on the bottom, maybe add an angle brace for extra support. That should save couple inches of clearance. Maybe not worth the extra work.
