Garland Maine | Simplest and most frustrating is water in the plug connections. can cause fluctuations in the electrical signals. 1074 had random issues until I took every single electrical connection and:
1)clean with electrical contact cleaner
2)Apply dielectric grease only to the pins. Make sure none smears across two pins or that makes it worse.
3) use regular bearing grease on the rubber seals for the plug to keep moisture out.
I ran a pump until it started leaking product out the shaft. Once i got the right replacement (long story) I was amazed at how much more pressure and flow I got out of the new one. If you do replace it get the whole assembly pump and hydraulic motor.
