USA | The reason I am wanting a stripper is because of double cropping beans. I looked at a fellow's stripper cut wheat at Brownstown, IL. I was really impressed with the bean stand, they planted 55 lbs and it looked like they all came up.The trouble we have is getting the beans through the straw if it is heavy.I am hoping to increase bean yields 5 to 10 bu.
The AGCO head is a new 2005 model that is 22 ft. The price that I was quoted on a 24 ft Shelbourne was $37500. Is this price out of line? We are going to go look at the AGCO, I don't know what they want for it. | |
