What I found was that when the tank was full, it was at least 10% over the desired rate, at half full it was pretty close, and when near empty, it was at least 10% under the target rate. Over the whole tank, it averaged out ok. I think it had to be due to head pressure - when full the product would just naturally flow through the check valves much easier. This was over 10 years ago, maybe the new ones are better, but they still look the same to me. been my experience too. probably only a few times in my life i was as happy when the coop installed a raven system on the sidedressing machine. |
