The AG's ride better than the original 8 bags from the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. They are also somewhat more durable. A Pete air leaf rides better, however I would have to say that the 8 bag is a more friendly suspension to go off road, out into the field with. A Pete 4 bag can get you hung up in places.
